February 28, 2005: Animals on the Underground

A snake on the undergroundMy good friend Andrew found this very useful tube map. I thought I'd return the favour with animals on the underground. Something else to think about while spending hours travelling down there with all the rats. I found a snake!

February 24, 2005: Concept cars

I love concept cars. When we're all driving round in that Lexus out of Minority Report I'll be a happy man. But until then I'll continue to dream of cars such as the ones built by Rinspeed, some crazy Swiss company that's going to make all our road rage disappear.
Check out their amphibious car which was previous shown on Top Gear.

February 23, 2005: The panic's over

My iPod has returned! Yay! Quite a quick turn around from Apple. They sent me an empty "returns" box last Friday, which I returned that same day. Then a brand spanking new iPod arrived this morning. How good is that! Back in action...

February 21, 2005: Dan's stag do

Dan as the stagDan's getting married in May this year, so a bunch of us went out to shoot him with paintballs at the weekend. When you're all dressed up in the overalls & masks, it's hard to tell who's who. The stag was presented with some antlers & a booby apron. This made it a lot easier to spot him.

February 15, 2005: NotMyFace update

I've added some pictures to NotMyFace of Clare's Hat & Wig Party & a couple from my Barge Trip in Bath with Tre & Stu during a wet weekend September last year (I've yet to scan my photos of this, so more to come soon).

February 14, 2005: Screen Select

The lovely Nicole has bought us 3 months subscription to Screen Select in return for using our flat for the filming of personal. I'm loving this site. You make a list - and I love a list - of your favourite movies from their selection (which is just about everything available on DVD, although they didn't have Pauly Shore is Dead) & providing you list is over 10 movies long, they'll send you up to 3 of them. When you've seen them, you pack them away in their easy to use envelopes & pop them off back to the website.

February 04, 2005: Turkey club sandwich

My poor turkey club sandwichJust had the new turkey club sandwich from Prêt. Not impressed. Looks good on paper, but failed to achieve maximum satisfaction. All those tasty ingredients only amount to another bland feed. Suffered from the same messy hand problems as many of the Prêt range.

The best Prêt sandwich was the coronation chicken before it went all tits-up when they replaced the yummy pine nuts for about ? a ton of almonds.

February 04, 2005: iBroke

My chuffin' iPod broke whilst in New Zealand, what a blinkin nuisance! If I select an album, it tries to play each track, fails to even start & move onto the next. Occasionally it will play a song, but it's useless. I can't select what I want to play. Maybe it's a hidden feature that's promoting the new iPod Shuffle?

February 04, 2005: A long break

I've been on an amazing long break (35 days) to Australia & New Zealand & hence, have not managed to squeeze out a single blog. I'm finding it difficult to get back into working mode, finding that I'm not really interested.

I might even go back over the last month & log my trip... if I can be bothered. We'll see.
