September 14, 2004: Pull your finger out
Went on a canal boat trip at the weekend in Bath. Had a great time relaxing, drinking, laughing & general messing about. Sunday though I managed to get my hand stuck under a rope with a 20 ton "Berwyn" the barge attached to the other end & dislocated my finger at the knuckle.
So there I was rolling around on the floor with my clicking finger pointing the wrong way. Managed to pop it back in shortly after & a couple of hours later, as luck would have it - I bumped into a physiotherapist. So at the moment at least, it looks like no serious damage has been done & so for now, I'm practising left handed mouse operation.
Ouch! That's got to hurt. Hope you get well soon, buddy. I'd still get it checked out though if it has been dislocated - you don't want to find you trapped a nerve or anything later on.
